PARENTS >  OPEN DAYS (BOOK LOOK)

CURRENT PARENTS
The School is open on the first Wednesday of most months between the end of the afternoon session and 4.30pm. It is a time set aside for you and your child to discuss her/his classroom activities. It can be a very valuable time when the children show you their work, and talk about the displays around the room as well as the books and folders in his/her tray.

Click here to see the current marking and feedback symbols used in the children's workbooks

Parents of children attending the school are always welcome, however, a short note prior to meeting teachers is preferable as it ensures that they are available. Parents are requested not to take up Staff time at the start of the day when the class is being organised for the day's work. In the morning the Headteacher and/or Deputy Headteacher is available for urgent messages.

PROSPECTIVE PARENTS
Once a month St Mary Abbots holds an Open Day from 3.40 – 4.30 p.m., providing prospective parents with the opportunity to meet with the Headteacher and receive out a folder with the necessary application forms. The Headteacher talks about the school and answers any questions, and there
is an opportunity to look around the school to see whether St Mary Abbots School is right for your child.

Parents hoping to send their children to St. Mary Abbots are asked to contact the school to check the dates for Open Days each term.
