THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF ART - WITH MISS HENLEY

Dear Chidren of SMA

John Lewis and Waitrose have launched a competition to design a soft toy to raise money for the incredible heroes working for the NHS. The winning design will be turned into a toy that will be sold in John Lewis and Waitrose stores at Christmas time with 100% of the profits going to the NHS.

Your job is to design a super bear cuddly toy. Avoid using any NHS lettering or super hero logos! Add colours, shapes, capes, masks, special powers or features to make your bear unique.

You may only enter ONE design per child for this competition so make sure that you choose your favourite design to enter.
The deadline for this competiton is: Thursday 7th May at 9am
Once you’ve completed your design, please send it in to me at:
lydia.henley@sma.rbkc.sch.uk

RAINBOWS FOR HOPE

To all members of St Mary Abbots School

Miss Henley has given you a task to create a rainbow for your window using anything you can find in your house or garden.  Enjoy watching the video and send us photos of your completed pieces of art.

'God puts rainbows in the clouds so that each of us - in the dreariest and most dreaded moments - can see a possibility of hope.'
Maya Angelou
